Announcing Our Second ME to WE #Tripstagram Photo Contest!
Wow, what a summer!
So many amazing change-makers took part in ME to WE Trip this past summer and we want to showcase all their amazing actions through our second #Tripstagram Photo Contest!
If you’ve captured amazing moments on your ME to WE Trip, then we want to see them! Submit your favourite photos on Twitter or Instagram by midnight Eastern Standard time on Sunday, Oct. 12th by tagging @MetoWe and hashtagging #Tripstagram and you’ll be automatically entered into our photo contest.
A lot happens on a ME to WE Trip, so we know you’ll have a tough time choosing which photos to share. But don’t worry—you can enter as many times as you want! Share photos that match the following categories for the best chance of winning:
- Making an Impact
- Cultural & Adventure Activities
- Community Interactions
Winning photos will be featured on the ME to WE website and a $100 ME to WE gift certificate will be given to the winner in each of three categories (Making an Impact, Cultural & Adventure Activities, andCommunity Interactions). An overall winner will be selected and will win a $250 ME to WE gift certificate. Gift certificates can be used toward all ME to WE products and experiences.

Terms & Conditions
The #Tripstagram Photo Contest is sponsored by ME to WE and Free The Children. The Contest begins on September 29th, and ends on October 12, 2014 at 11:59 p.m. EST. By entering, all entrants and other participants agree to these official rules.
To participate, you must submit a photo of your trip via Twitter or Instagram and tag @metowe and #tripstagram for tracking purposes. If you do not have these social media accounts, you may submit via email to [email protected]. If selected as a finalist, we will reach out for the original image so that finalist photos can be posted online for final voting. All photos must have been taken while on a ME to WE Trip. Free The Children and ME to WE staff do not qualify for this contest.
By submitting content, the participant represents that they took the photo(s) entered and possess the rights to the image. The participant and, if the participant is under the age of 18, the parent/legal guardian of the participant, grant full permission in perpetuity to ME to WE and/or Free The Children to copyright, reproduce, use, reuse, license, exhibit, display, distribute and create derivative works of any photographs, slides, films, videotapes, recordings or any other submitted content, in connection with a ME to WE Youth Volunteer Trip or any related events whether in print, CD-ROM, videotape, electronic or other format for any purpose whatsoever (including, but not limited to, promotional materials such as informational brochures, websites, television shows and public information campaigns) and to make the material available to third parties for broadcast and publication without further notice and with no expectation of financial or other consideration to be paid to the participant in connection therewith. The participant and, if the participant is under the age of 18, the parent/legal guardian of the participant, acknowledge and accept that such photographs, slides, films, videotapes, recordings or other content, including any appearance of the participant included therein, may be edited at the sole discretion of ME to WE and/or Free The Children.
Finalists will be selected after October 12th, 2014 and original images requested. Original images must be received within 48 hours or another finalist will be chosen. These photos will be put online for final consideration and winners will be notified by October 20th, 2014. Winners will be notified via social media or email, and we will request their contact information in order to award their prize. Prizes must be claimed within 48 hours of the winner being notified.
Winning photos will be featured on the ME to WE website and a $100 (CAD) ME to WE gift certificate will be given to the winner in each of three categories (Making an Impact, Cultural & Adventure Activities, and Community Interactions). An overall winner will be selected and will win a $250 (CAD) ME to WE gift certificate. Gift certificates can be used toward all ME to WE products and experiences. To use the discount towards your experience, must be over the phone; to use your discount towards a product, must be online. Winners will be sent a code via email that will allow them to redeem their prize.
